We’re coolcat creations – a small web design & development studio that learns best by explaining things to others. Every time we dive into a topic, we want to really understand it. And for us, the best way to do that is to break it down, write it out, and teach it.

When it comes to the Browser Inspector (DevTools in Chrome, Firefox, Safari & Co.), we kept running into the same problem: there was no single, clear, friendly guide that explains everything in one place. Network tab, layout tools, performance, accessibility checks, cookies, cache, XHR, console, fun easter eggs – the whole package.

So we decided to build that resource ourselves.

On browser-inspector.com we collect tips, tricks, tutorials and examples that show:

• how to use the Browser Inspector step by step,

• what you can actually do with it,

• and why it’s such a powerful tool for developers, designers and website owners alike.

A big part of our work is teaching. We run web design classes for kids and introduce them to building sites with Joomla. In the very first lesson, we always open the Browser Inspector. Why? Because it’s the perfect hook: you can change text or colours on any page on your own screen and “prank” a website for a moment. The kids love it – and they instantly see that the web is not some mysterious black box, but something they can understand, play with, and eventually build themselves.

That sense of fun and curiosity is exactly what we want this site to carry. The Browser Inspector is not just a dry developer tool – it’s a playful, powerful way to explore how the web works.

We’re completely independent – we don’t cooperate with any browser vendor (at least not yet 😉). Our only goal is to help people feel confident using the tools that are already built into their browser, so they can understand their websites better, debug smarter, and design with more control.
